Les Enfants began purely out of necessity, a story needed retelling and there were instruments at hand. Music was born, as a creaking, clicking, old wooden piano was roused from it's slumber, once again coerced into the task for which it was made. Humming, shimmering and breathing, the wood shook for us - living once again - and we captured it.

Handclaps and tambourines laughed together and danced off the walls as ukuleles swooned, mourning, until the floor became an ocean, sweeping and swaying - waves smashing under the might of ivory keys.

Then, in the balmy, salt-skinned evening when seas were calm, from the topmost window of a wooden house by the promenade, passersby would hear the tones of the softest lullaby, plucked in whispers for the coming dawn.

Music was in that house being divined and distilled until with a sigh it was complete. This EP is what remains, existing entirely for your pleasure. This is our joy.
